Maghera defeated Cross & Passion Ballycastle 4-4 to 0-9 in the Mageean final at Dunloy to collect their second title.
They had won their first a year earlier when Johnny McGurk from Lavey captained the team and they went on to make it 3-in-a-row with Seamus Downey the 1985 captain.
NB – 4 players - Danny Quinn, Seamus Downey, Henry Downey, Collie McGurk – collected All-Ireland Senior football medals in 1993 with Derry.
