BT Macrory Madness Competition Terms and Conditions
  1. The competition will be organised and administered jointly by BT and Ulster Colleges.
  2. The competition is open to all pupils who attend a second level school in Northern Ireland or any of the Ulster Colleges in the Republic of Ireland.
  3. To enter the competition, a pupil must answer the question relating to that particular day via the online competition form only.
  4. There will be 10 questions over the course of the competition: 1 question per day for the first 10 days.
  5. If a person answers a daily question correct, it will count as 1 entry to the final Mega Prize Draw on day 10.
  6. The daily prize winner will be randomly chosen from all the submitted correct answers from the previous day.
  7. There will be 3 prizes give in the Mega Prize draw and the top 3 schools that have submitted the most correct entries will be chosen from the collective correct entries for the 10 days.
  8. Entrants will be required to supply their name and email address, select their school name from the drop down menu, class name and form teacher name on the online competition form.
  9. Please note, if your school (N.I. only) is not in the drop down, you will be asked to submit it, and this will be approved by BT and Ulster Colleges.
  10. Entrants must tick a box to indicate that they have obtained parental or guardian approval before entering the competition.
  11. All contact information submitted to the Organisers will be used for the purposes of the competition only, and will not be forwarded to any third parties.
  12. The competition will run from Monday 5th March at 9.00am until Friday 16th March at midnight.
  13. Entrants should only apply once per day. Duplicate entries will be omitted.
  14. An entrant will become a daily prize winner if they:
    1. are the sole entrant to submit the correct answer
    2. are the randomly drawn winner from the list of correct answers for that day.
  15. An entrant will be the Mega Prize draw winner if they:
    1. have had at least one correct entry from 1 of the 10 daily questions;
    2. are the random winner chosen from all the correct answers.
  16. There will be 10 prizes to be won in total over the course of the 10 day competition.
  17. The prizes are as stated. The Organisers reserve in all cases the right to replace the stated prizes with prizes that they consider to be of equal value. No cash alternatives will be offered.
  18. Winners will be notified via email, and their names will be posted on the website. We will also write to their school principal - and the prize will be sent to the school for distribution to the student.
  19. The Organisers' decision is final in all matters relating to the competition.
  20. The Organisers reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions or cancel this competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside its control.
